CARL

Carl studied at the University of Bournemouth in the UK, where he undertook an BA in Film & Cinematography between 2009 and 2012. He has a wealth of experience in the industry having worked in Bristol for a year on projects for the BBC, Channel 2, ITV 2 and BBC Three to name a few.

Carl has been actively pursuing his media career and has filmed, directed and lit various music videos and live events for independent artists and record labels such as Hospitality Records, Overload and Easy Records.

Carl came to Koh Tao not being able to dive and received his training through Big Blue - his intention was always to gain experience as an underwater filmmaker as he aspires to making documentaries and being and underwater camera man -

Carl says of his training with The Film Company…

“ It was a pleasure from start to finish and still is, the guys worked with me to adapt to my previous skills and knowledge and ensured that I had the appropriate training where needed. I have learned a lot in this short time and Rosie and her team are really helpful and supportive. Whilst I am working they continue to ensure that I develop as a professional and enjoy what I’m loving to do…dive and film for a living!!”
